Indian cinema lovers have all the reasons to rejoice as the trailer of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Conclusion is creating records not just in India, but overseas as well. The film, a sequel to the 2015 blockbuster, Baahubali: The Beginning features Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia in lead roles. The action-packed trailer of Baahubali 2, which had released on Thursday morning took the social media by storm by creating all-India records on YouTube. The trailer has shattered the record set by the trailer of Pawan Kalyan starrer Katamarayudu. It is now the most liked Telugu trailer. While the Pawan Kalyan film took more than one-month to become the numero-uno, the trailer of Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer broke the record in just five hours.
The magnificent trailer has set an unique record, not only for Telugu film industry, but also for entire Indian film industry. The Telugu trailer of SS Rajamouli film is now the seventh most watched trailer in the world in 24 hours. It has clocked 21.8 million views on YouTube within the said time frame. Baahubali 2 trailer is now only next to the trailers of The Ultimate 2016 Challenge, PSY’s GENTLEMAN, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Adele’s Hello, Now Watch Me 2015 and Captain America: Civil War’s trailer 2 in the world.
Baahubali 2 is scheduled to be released on 28 April 2017.
