As expected, Telugu actor Allu Arjun’s Duvvada Jagannadham has set the Worldwide Box Office on fire. The film, which marked the third outing of Allu Arjun and producer Dil Raju looks like to recreate the Box Office success of the duo’s previous films Arya and Paragu at the Box Office worldwide.
On its opening day itself, Duvvada Jagannadham has opened to an earth-shattering response across the cinemas of India. Be it the Telugu states, Karnataka or Tamil Nadu Box Office, the Allu Arjun starrer was phenomenal through out the opening day everywhere. Duvvada Jagannadham has minted Rs. 30.5 crore on its opening day across India.
Duvvada Jagannadham was excellent overseas as well. At North America, the film has crossed the half-a-million club from the collections of Thursday premieres and Friday. The action entertainer is said to have collected $350 K alone from its Thursday premiere and as per early Friday trends, Duvvada Jagannadham has collected $200 K at the North America Box Office. The two-day collection of the film now stands at $550 K (Rs 3 crore) at the North America Box Office.
What’s more? The Allu Arjun starrer has also beaten Salman Khan’s Tubelight at the North America Box Office.
The Bollywood superstar’s film only managed to do S187 K across the North America. The worldwide collection of Dhuvvada Jagannadham on its opening day is Rs. 34 crore, which is now the biggest opener of Allu Arjun’s career.
