Seems like things are turning out to be bad for Telugu cinema industry. Celebrity manager to popular Telugu film celebrities has been arrested following the possession of Marijuana drug at his residence, adding more fuel to the ongoing controversy. Reportedly, as a part of the ongoing probe in the drugs scandal, the Telangana excise department’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) has arrested Rony, manager to top South actresses Kajal Aggarwal and Raashi Khanna, a while ago.
There are reports that a large amount of marijuana has been seized from his residence in Hyderabad. SIT suspects that Rony has been possessing the drug for a long time. They also suspect that he has close links with the drug peddlers.
Interestingly, Rony is also the manager of actresses Lavanya Tripathi and the newcomer Megha Akash, who is soon to be making her Telugu debut with August release LIE opposite Nithiin. The celebrity manager is said to have many connections with bigwigs of the Telugu film industry and his arrest has already shocked the entire Telugu film fraternity. Rony is currently questioned by the SIT officials.

There are also reports that Rony was arrested following the revelations made by the actor Navdeep during his interrogation with the SIT officials. Will Rony’s revelations lead the SIT to many more celebrities?
