The fans of Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu have a reason to rejoice as the actor will have three films to roll out in 2017. The Telugu prince took to Twitter to share the good news on New Year as a treat to his millions of fans worldwide.
Mahesh Babu, who just celebrated the New Year in Switzerland had revealed that after the release of AR Murugadoss’ film, tentatively titled Mahesh 23, the actor will join the sets of his Srimanthudu director Siva Koratala – DVV Danayya film. His other releases, Vamshi Paidipilly – Dil Raju – Ashwini Dutt film and Trivikram film for Mythri Movie Makers production are also slated to start rolling in 2017.
Mahesh Babu also expressed his share of excitement to be a part of the AR Murugadoss film. The Telugu superstar tweeted that his dream of collaborating with the ‘super cool director’ has finally come true.
Meanwhile, the makers of Mahesh Babu – AR Murugadoss film postponed the title release to an unknown date.
Earlier, the makers had decided to reveal the title on New Year, but postponed due to unknown reasons. The makers also revealed that the official teaser of Mahesh 23 will be unveiled on 26 January 2017, on the occasion of Republic day.
Touted as a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, Mahesh 23 marks the Kollywood debut of Mahesh Babu and will have Rakul Preet Singh as the female lead. The upcoming magnum opus is jointly bankrolled by eight producers including NV Prasad, Tagore Madhu, Reliance Entertainment, Leo Productions, Mega Super Good Films, Fox Star Studios along with Mahesh Babu and director Murugadoss under their respective banners. The film also marks the Telugu debut of the Tamil actor SJ Suryah as the main antagonist.
The action-thriller is slated to be released in April 2017.
