Shilpa Shinde, who came into limelight with comedy show Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai! has been slut-shamed and body-shamed after she featured in an item son. The actress was targetted by social media troll for her item song Maro Line in the upcoming film Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi. The song which was released on a few days back evoked extreme reactions, with many calling her too fat. Many others trolled her for her choice of clothes and for putting on so much weight.
Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi stars Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal in the lead roles. It also stars Vir Das and Payal Ghosh and has music by Lalit Pandit. The film releases on September 15.
This is not the first time Shilpa has landed into trouble. She shocked everyone when she quit Life Ok’s show Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai!. She grabbed headlines when she filed a case against the show’s producer Sanjay Kohli and alleged that Sanjay had asked her for sexual favours. The actress also alleged that he had touched her inappropriately.
Apart from Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai, Shinde has also acted in the serials like Miss India, Hatim and Sanjeevani. She has also acted in two Telugu films-Dasari Narayana Rao’s Chhina and Suresh Verma’s Shivani.
