The official first look of upcoming Tamil film, Vikram Vedha is out. Directed by married director duo, Pushkar and Gayathri of Oram Va and Po fame and produced by S Sashikanth, the film is touted as a gangster-cop thriller. Vikram Vedha stars R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles.
The film was in news ever since the cast of the film was announced. It also marks the first collaboration of Tamil heartthrob, R Madhavan with the current hit machine of Tamil industry, Vijay Sethupathi.
To make the excitement bigger, the makers revealed the official poster of Vikram Vedha on Wednesday.
The poster features the faces of both R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi looking in different directions. The Alaipayuthey actor can be seen in a lean-and-mean look while Vijay Sethupathi is seen sporting a salt-and-pepper look. Madhavan is essaying a cop in the film whereas Vijay Sethupathi portrays a gangster in the film. From the first look of Vikram Vedha, it’s evident that both the actors have equally powerful roles in the film.
Vikram Vedha is reportedly based on the mythological tale, Vikramaditya. Madhavan had earlier quoted that he managed to get the lean look for the film without hitting the gym.
I’m glad that I’ve managed to achieve this look without any workout and just followed my own secret diet which got me such fantastic result. I do not eat after 6 pm and ensure to keep at least five-and-half-hour gap between two meals,” Madhavan said in a statement.
Vikram Vedha stars Shraddha Srinath and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as female leads. The film also stars Kathir, John Vijay, and Prem.
