The trailer of Vishal Pandya directorial — Wajah Tum Ho is out and it seems like yet another film from the Hate Story franchise. One look at the trailer and you’re sure that same ‘sex selling’ tactic being used once again with new faces on screen. Sana Khan, Gurmeet Choudhary, Sharman Joshi and Rajniesh Duggal are playing the pivotal characters in the film and if you look closely, you can have a glimpse of bikini-clad Sherlyn Chopra.
Multiply the same story of revenge, anger and violence with more sex scenes, supposedly heavy dialogues and some revamped versions of old hit Hindi tracks, and you get Wajah Tum Ho. Sana Khan, who rose to fame from her stint in Bigg Boss is playing the character of a legal lawyer in the film and Gurmeet plays the man in her life. Once again, you feel petty to see Sharman Joshi taking up a character in the same mess like Hate Story 3. Here, the 3 Idiots actor is playing a tough cop who’s on a mission to solve a murder mystery which has been aired live on TV channels.
The music of the film constitutes the modified versions of songs like Maahi Ve (Kaante – 2002) and Aise Na Mujhe Tum Dekho (Darling Darling – 1977). But, what has been highlighted of all in the trailer (more than the details of the characters) is the type of lingerie designs Sana is donning (coz that’s how much importance has been given to her lingerie).
This is first of Sana Khan’s Hindi films where she has been featured in a full fledged role. She was seen playing a small role in Salman Khan starrer Jai Ho in 2014. However, Gurmeet’s last on-screen outing remains Khamoshi with Sapna Pabbi and Ali Fazal.
Directed by Vishal Pandya and produced by T-series, Wajah Tum Ho is slated to hit the screens on 2 December. Considering that Hate Story 3 too grossed a decent collection at the Box Office, do you think Wajah Tum Ho will be able to pull enough number of audiences in the theatres this December?
