The new song from Badrinath Ki Dulhania released a short while ago and it has the potential to be the heartbreak song of the season. Having heart-wrenching lyrics and soothing music, the song is sung by Arijit Singh. One look at the song and you will absolutely understand the feelings that Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt are trying to express through it. The two manage to show the pain of being away from one loved ones, perfectly.
Moving away from the music and lyrics, the video of the song also gave a little insight into the plot of the rom-com Badrinath Ki Dulhania. The video started with an angry Badri threatening to beat Vaidehi, and the latter asking him to do so. But then he explains why he won’t.
Now this segment of the song has really got us wondering, what the makers wish to portray with it. In which sane relationship, does one partner threaten to beat the another? Aren’t the makers showing abusing relationships through it? But before we jump to any conclusions, it would be best to wait till the film releases on 10 March to know what the movie is really about.
The song also shows that Vaidehi moves to a new country to accomplish her dreams.
Shashank Khaitan’s directorial Badrinath Ki Dulhania has created quite a buzz since it went on floors. The second installment of the Dulhania series, this is the third movie of Varuna and Alia together. The trailer and songs of the film have become the talking topic. The film also features a reprised version of the 90’s hit Tamma Tamma.
