It’s been a long wait to watch Vicky Kaushal in his element since Neeraj Ghaywan’s Masaan in 2015. Since then, he’s gone on to star in Anurag Kashyap’s Raman Raghav 2.0 where he couldn’t withstand the piercing gaze of Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

He starred in an AIB sketch with Richa Chadha, and now after nearly two years we’re seeing him in Netflix’s Love Per Square Foot.
Directed by Anand Tiwari, the film set in Mumbai follows the struggles of finding your own space. Whether it is for a romantic liaison in crowded locals or spending some time alone in the pigeon-hole 1 BHKs with the parents breathing down your neck.
Starring Angira Dhar (of Bang Baaja Baraat fame) alongside Kaushal and Kunal Roy Kapur (playing the ‘safe guy’ as usual), the film promises to be a modern-day romance interspersed with the quirks of house hunting in the city.

Love Per Square Foot is the first movie under the joint venture between Netflix and Ronnie Screwvala, and will be Netflix India’s second original film after Qaushiq Mukherjee’s Brahman Naman. It will begin streaming this Valentine’s Day, presumably between February 14-16. Should be good fun!
