Salman Khan starrer Tubelight hit the theatres across the world on June 23. Unlike other Eid releases, the 1962 Sino-India war drama has not been appreciated well by the audience and critics alike. In the past four days, it has earned a little over Rs 83 crore at the box office. It is quite less as per expectations from a Salman Khan film. Besides the Dabangg actor, the film stars Sohail Khan, Chinese actress Zhu Zhu, child actor Matin Rey Tangu, late Om Puri and Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub in pivotal roles. However, it is Shah Rukh Khan whose cameo as magician Goga Pasha in the film has generated a lot of curiosity. Now, rumours are abuzz that King Khan is keen on roping Salman to make a guest appearance in his next film that his helmed by Aanand L Rai.
“There is indeed a guest role in Aanand’s film that I would like Salman to consider. We are working in their direction,” Shah Rukh said. But I would like him to play that role, the 51-year-old actor told DNA.

Although, SRK clarified that he has not talked with Salman in this connection as of now. “I am going to talk to him when we get time. I mostly meet him at 3 am,” he wittingly replied. It should be mentioned that both the Khans were last seen in Om Shanti Om a decade ago. Prior to this, the duo shared screen space in Karan Arjun, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam and others.
Shah Rukh Khan shares the screen space with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in Aanand L Rai’s next film, whose title is not decided yet. It marks the trio’s second collaboration after Jab Tak Hai Jaan which released in 2012.
