In a rather shocking incident in the capital, a 20 year old student studying at the school for blind was arrested for allegedly trying to sodiomise his junior in the school premises. The victim is completely blind and is of 11 years. The matter came into light when victim’s parents lodged a complaint about it with the school authorities.
This is not the first time that the boy tried to assault an 11-year-old. On January 1, 2017, he had abused the same child and when the victim told about this to the family members, his uncle took the matter to the Vice-Principal, SP Singh. According to victim, the offender is his room mate and he even use to harass him by making him do all his work.
Last time when the incident occurred, family members of the offender were informed and they asked for an apology and the boy continued to stay in the hostel as board exams were about to start.
Being the serial abuser that he is, the 20-year-old sodomised the 11-year-old on 6th February and not only this he even threaten to kill him if he told about it to someone. However, this time, Singh reported the case to the Police.
In the past too he has manhandled children staying in the hostel, last year he was caught when allegedly trying to forcefully take another child in his room. When his parents were informed about the incident they rendered an apology and he was let go.
Children of classes III to XI are studying at the school located in the Amar colony area of New Delhi and most of them are from UP and Haryana, who stay in the hostel above the school premises.
