As the incidents of attacks on Indians in USA are increasing, a 26-year-old Vikram Jaryal became the latest victim of it who was shot dead by allegedly two masked robbers in Washington. After the incident came to light, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj tweeted, India is coordinating with the police authorities who are in the process of nabbing culprits.
Jayral, was working in a convenience store of a gas station and was behind the counter, when two miscreants came in and robbed the store. He was rushed to the hospital where he passed away.
Swaraj tweeted.“On 6 April two miscreants entered the shop at 1.30 am. They snatched cash from victim and shot on his chest. This resulted in his death.”
According to PTI, Jaryal was from Hoshiarpur district in Punjab and was working in a AM-PM gas station in Yakima City when the incident happened.
His family members have asked Swaraj to help in bringing back his body to India. He had gone to the US only 25 days back.
“Our consulate in San Francisco is helping the family and following this up with the Police authorities”, said Sushma Swaraj in a tweet.

“The victim was able to tell officers what happened when they arrived a few minutes later; but tragically, he died a short time later at the hospital,” police was quoted saying by the NBC Right Now channel.
