Liquor baron Vijay Mallya on Friday became a victim of cyber crime after his Twitter account was hacked. Add to this, the miscreants not only posted his personal details but also abused him on social media.

“We shall bring you more about this fraudster and conman over the course of the next few weeks. Slowly watch this b**** die as we expose him!” read one of the tweets. The hackers also claimed to have found bank account details of the businessman and promised to share more details in future.
“This is just a partial dump. More data will be coming over the course of a few days 😉 We are legion.
Do not f*** with us,” one of the tweets read.
More info on Mallyas bank accounts & foreign assets will be published as the investigation is completed in some other matters.

Vijay Mallya had himself tweeted about his account being hacked, asking the followers to ignore them as a joke.
My account has been hacked by some one called Legion who are Tweeting now in my name. Simply ignore. Will fix this .

It should be noted that Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi and his party’s official Twitter handles were also hacked a week ago. The party had blamed the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party for being behind the cyber attack.
