Medical aspirants wish to get through any of the top colleges in the country and then there is Sankeerth Sadananda who has cracked three toughest medical entrance examination with flying colours. In National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), the result of which was announced on Friday, Sankeerth bagged All India Rank (AIR) 4 and also secured Rank 27 and Rank 10 in AIIMS and JIPMER respectively.

On achieving success in all the three medical entrance examination, Sankeerth who hails from Bengaluru said, “It was my mother’s biology books with beautiful illustrations that first inspired my curiosity for the subject”. He added that because of this he chose science stream after class 10th.

While talking about his preparation, Sankeerth said that he did not pressurise himself and studied only when he felt the need to. He did not cut off from social media and remained active on all such platform. However, he always kept his books close to him and picked them up whenever he felt the need to. He said he did not study to clear with the aim of clearing the entrance examination but due to interest in it.

Sankeerth while giving tips to the medical aspirants out there said that the as per him the best strategy to prepare for these exams is to focus on subjects like Maths and Chemistry and should prepare those subjects which need to be by-hearted at the end.

This year, the NEET was conducted on May 7 and around 11, 38,890 students took the exam. Around 9,13,033 took the exam in English, whereas, 1,20,663 students gave the exam in Hindi. Out of those who sat for the exam, 6,11,539 students cleared it.

Earlier, the NEET results were expected to come out on June 8 but due to the petitions filed demanding the cancellation of the exam, there was a delay in the announcement of results.
