Are Those Woodland Shoes Baba Ramdev Is Hiding On Instagram?

Baba Ramdev flaunted what seemed like Woodland shoes in an Instagram post, which was replaced with a cropped up picture later

It wasn’t too long ago when yoga guru Baba Ramdev prompted “deshbhakt Indians” to work towards “fulfilling the dream of Mahatma Gandhi to promote Swadeshi” through Patanjali. But perhaps all that nationalism was exclusively meant for Patanjali, and not for Babaji himself, who has recently been called a “hypocrite” over a social media post.

Squatting on the banks of River Ganga, Baba Ramdev flaunted what seemed like Woodland shoes in a recent Instagram post. (Yes, Baba is on Instagram. We’ll let that sink for a bit.) However, for whatever reason, he later deleted the post and replaced it with the same picture, albeit cropping out the shoes.

But apparently, he’s just as adept at cropping photos as he is with posting politically-charged tweets.

Ramdev left out a bit of the shoe, just stifling the hopes of a possible “Photoshop” defence.

Several of Baba’s Instagram followers stormed the new post with inquiries shading whatever it was that Baba tried to pull. Baba Ramdev’s embarrassing attempt to guise the Canadian brand shoes started gaining attention as the screenshots went viral on Twitter.

Well, if you’re gonna be pushing a nationalist agenda, you think he could have just sported a pair of chappals, or an Indian brand at least, but apparently not. For now, we only look forward to Baba’ statement.
