The Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) will announce the results of Class 10th on May 31 at 10 am. The results will come out on the official websites which are sebaonline.org and resultsassam.nic.in. The board exams of High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) in Assam started from February 17 and ended on March 10. As many as 3.81 lakh students took the exam this year and the total number of students who registered for the exam were 3.91 lakh. Around 3,81, 580 students have appeared for the Assam SEBA HSLC class 10th exam in the academic session of 2015-2016. The overall pass percentage for the session was 62.79%.

A few days back, Assam’s Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in the assembly claimed that to show the better picture of the education, the pass percentage of students was manipulated by the board every year. He went on to say that the manipulation of marks was as high as 40%.
Sarma said “He (SEBA chairman) said that we have been doing it every year. Each year, actual pass percentage is 20-25 per cent. We make it above 60 per cent.”
The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) will declare the AHSEC HSSLC results or Class 12 results 2017 on May 30 at 10 am.
