Yoga guru Baba Ramdev will soon be a featured as a wax statue at Delhi’s Madame Tussauds wax museum. Ramdev was recently at the Madame Tussauds museum in London, where a group of 20 experts took his measurements for the statue.
Baba Ramdev will be seen striking the vrikshasana pose (tree posture) in the statue, which will be moved to the Delhi museum later. The artists took nearly 200 measurements including details of Ramdev’s eyes, ears, skull, posture, etc.
In an official statement released on Monday, Ramdev’s team stated, “The team of Madame Tussauds expert artists met Baba Ramdev in London for the sitting for his figure, where they took over 200 specific measurements, photographs to create an authentic likeness.”

Reportedly, this is the first time in the last 250 years, that a statue of a yoga guru is being curated by the Madame Tussauds.
