After Bihar Class 12 Arts topper, Ganesh Kumar failed to show any of his academic prowess raising speculation of yet another topper scam in the state, the Bihar School Exam Board Chairman Anand Kishore has cancelled his result with immediate effect.
According to an ANI report, a case will also be registered against Ganesh Kumar and the school authorities.
Earlier, as the news of 65% students failing in the Bihar Board exams had shocked everyone, there were reports that the Arts topper Ganesh Kumar had gone underground, leading to suspicion over him securing the first position in the Board exams.
Ganesh Kumar was studying in Samastipur’s Ram Nandan Singh Jagdeep Narayan College but he was a resident of Saraiya, Giridih in Jharkhand, a place 250 km from his school.
The admission form submitted by him states he was born on June 2, 1993, according to which he should be 24-year-old but a class 12th student is aged between 17 and 19, this discrepancy had led to the suspicion.

Considering his high Music practical marks, Ganesh should have been well trained in Music. But news reports have shown Ganesh doesn’t have much idea about Music.
He scored 82.6 per cent marks. He scored 65 out of 70 in Music practical, 18 out of 30 in Music Theory and 92 marks out of 100 in Hindi.
After last year’s controversy, Bihar board had reportedly taken stringent measures for conducting the school exams, failing over 60 per cent of students in Science and Arts. Notably, this year’s BSEB board exam results are ‘worst’ of the last two decades.
