According to reports, the BSF denied all the allegations raised by the BSF jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav and had said that he has gone through a difficult past and had a drinking problem. He even alleged that the BSF jawan used to remain absent on various occasions counseling regularly.

He has also reportedly been transferred to Batallion headquarters. Meanwhile, the government has taken cognisance of the situation and have said they will investigate the claims and take actions at the earliest. The government has said that the “welfare of the soldiers was a priority”.
In a series of videos, this soldier, who claims to be from the 29th battalion of the Border Security Force in Jammu and Kashmir, shared the difficulties of life at the border.
In the first video, the soldier, said, “From morning to evening we work, standing in all weather conditions. No matter the rain, no matter the snow, in all conditions we do our duty, but neither the media nor any minister pay heed to our problems.” He further claimed that they eat bad food and have slept empty stomach on several occasions.
He tried to show they were not being fed properly because of the corruption at top levels- the services and life that a jawan is entitled to, has gone for a toss.
Yadav’s videos, posted on his Facebook profile, has drawn strong and sharp response from social media users. Some have blamed him for seeking needless publicity and some have gone on a government-bashing spree.
Soon after the videos of a BSF soldier highlighting the hardships faced by them went viral on social media, Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju said that a high-level inquiry has been ordered into the videos.
