Ahead of the ICSE Class 10th 2017 results and ISC Class 12th 2017 results declaration, the Department of Electronics and Information Technology has given the access to its Digilocker facility to the students to store and share their academic documents in a public cloud storage space. This will allow the students of class 10 and 12 of the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) to directly share their files, certificates and documents and access them whenever it’s required.
This year, the digital copies of the mark sheets and Pass Certificates will also be available this year for the ISC students along with the hard copies of these documents. These digital copies can be saved in the Digilockers which will be linked with user’s AADHAR number. As stated by CISCE Chief Executive Gerry Arathoon, the service is free, secure and user-friendly.
But first of all the students need to create a Digilocker account with its official website digilocker.gov.in. In order to open a Digilocker account, follow the following steps after logging into the website.
You can sign up this facility with your phone number. Enter your phone number in the given dialogue box.
Once you mention your contact number, a One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your phone. Enter the OTP and move to next step.
Set your username and password. Remember, the password should be different from the username. Secondly, it should be of 8-30 characters with an alphabet, a special character and a number.
Enter your AADHAR details for authentication process
After clicking on submit button, your account will be created on the Digilocker and now you can access this account for sharing and storing the mark sheets and Pass Certificate.
