IIT JEE Advanced 2017 Results has been released today on the official website of the entrance exam. Over 1.7 lakh students were eagerly waiting for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced results.
Results of the JEE-Main were declared in the month of April. Out of the over 11.8 lakh students who appeared for the JEE main, for admission to various IITs and engineering colleges, around 2.2 lakhs qualified to appear for the JEE advanced exams. The JEE advanced paper 1 and paper 2 was conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras on May 21.
The results of JEE (Advanced) were declared at 10 AM. The answer keys for JEE (Advanced) 2017 were already released earlier this month. As per reports, the several programs and courses that IITs will offer will be declared during seat allocation.
Here’s how you can check your results:
-Log on to the official website of the JEE advance, www.jeeadv.ac.in at 10 AM.
-Click on the “Results of JEE (ADV) 2017 tab
-Fill in your enrollment number and other required fields.
-Click Submit
-Your result will be displayed on your screen
-You can also download the result and take a printout for future reference.
The IIT aspirants are battling for over 11,000 seats that would be made available in the 23 IITs in different parts of the country. The IITs also announced that they will be awarding 11 bonus marks to students for 3’ambiguous’ questions – two from Mathematics and one from Physics that were asked in JEE Advanced 2017 paper. last year, the students were awarded bonus marks for two questions.
