Caught on camera: Man brutally killed with swords and hockey sticks

The deceased has been identified as Rafiquddin (33) alias Guddya,  a local criminal. He was having a tea at a stall on Tuesday morning when a group of 11 men attacked him with swords and hockey sticks

An extremely disturbing video of a man being killed by swords in a broad daylight in front of many people has surfaced.  The incident took place in Dhule which is around 280 km from Mumbai and was recorded on a CCTV which was installed in a nearby building. The video got leaked on Wednesday after it was taken by the police and has gone viral since then.

The deceased has been identified as Rafiquddin (33) alias Guddya,  a local criminal. He was having a tea at a stall on Tuesday morning when a group of 11 men attacked him with swords and hockey sticks.  According to the police he was struck by sword 27 times before the culprits fled from the scene. Reportedly,  the killers were from the rival gang.

An official of Dhule Police Control, who did not wish to be identified said, “After the walk, he stopped by for a cup of tea at a popular stall when at least 10 members of a rival gang suddenly barged inside the shop and shot at him with a country-made revolver”.

Once he fell down on the ground, they attacked him with swords and hockey sticks. Those people then dragged him out of the tea shop. Then they began dragging Guddya out of the tea shop and kept attacking him. As per the video, one of the killers kept hitting Guddya, who was lying motionless, until pulled  away by an associate.

So far police 7 out of 10 attackers have been identified the police and all are on the run and the manhunt has been launch to nab them. Those identified are  Vilas Goyar, his sons Vicky Goyar, Shyam Goyar and Vijay Goyar, their associates Rajendra Devare, Bhima Devare, Dadu Devare. Guddya was out on bail and had around 35 cases of extortion, rape and murder registered against him.
