As the CBSE announced its class 10th result on June 3, there are many success stories of students who by overcoming all odds manage to score really well in the exam. One such story is of Devanshu Tiwari and Aparna Singh both students of Lucknow’s Rani Laxmi Bai Memorial Public School who have scored Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 10. Both Devanshu and Aparna’s father are compounders.
Devanshu whose father work at a private clinic said, “I have seen my parents struggling to manage the monthly budget at home. They cut down their expenses to ensure that I get whatever I want. I dedicate my marks to them for the struggle that they have done for me”.

The story of Aparna hard work is similar to that of Devanshu. She said that her parents always felt bad for not being able to provide lavish lifestyle to her but it is their support and love that she was able to get CGPA of 10.
Both of them want to become engineers and want to opt for PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) in class 12. From Rani Laxmi Bai Memorial Public School as many as 1669 students gave the exam of class 10, out which 667 students scored a CGPA of 10. Results of Class 10th can be checked at its official website, cbse.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in.
In 2017, around 16 lakh students appeared for the exam but due to the discussion on moderation marks policy, the results of class 10th got delayed this year. Last year, the results of class 10 came out on May 28. The results of Delhi, Allahabad, Dehradun, Chennai and Trivandrum came out first.
