Two people died in Andhra Pradesh after they were mowed down by Kandukur MLA Pothula Ramarao’s car on Wednesday. The deceased — identified as Hari Narayana (65) and his wife, Seeta Mahalakshmi (60) — were travelling on a two-wheeler when they were hit by the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader’s car at Kesarapalli junction near the Vijayawada airport.
The incident occurred when the TDP leader was headed towards to airport to catch a flight to Hyderabad, sub-inspector (SI) Subramanyam told The New Indian Express. Reportedly, he was on his way to offer his condolences to the family of actor-politician Nandamuri Hari Krishna, who had passed away on Wednesday after meeting a road accident at Narketpalli in Nalgonda District, Telangana.
