It’s snowing in the hottest place in the world, Sahara, after 40 years.

This is the third time in nearly 40 years that the Algerian town of Ain Sefra, known as “The Gateway to the Desert”, has witnessed snowfall. The sand dunes are covered in snow for up to 400 cm.
