Latheesha Ansari, a 24-year-old keyboardist from Kerala suffers from a rare bone disorder and respiratory condition that requires external oxygen support. But that didn’t stop her from appearing for the civil service exams. Latheesha from Kottayam took the UPSC preliminary exam with an oxygen cylinder by her side. It was provided to her under the directions of Kottayam Collector PK Sudheer Babu.
Latheesha who holds an MCom degree has Type II Osteogenesis Imperfecta since birth. She also suffers from pulmonary hypertension due to which she requires oxygen cylinder for support. A keyboardist as well as glass painting artist, she often performs in music shows on TV.
