Uttar Pradesh chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday hailed Bharatiya Janata Party’s victory in Delhi civic polls. Taking a swipe at the Aam Aadmi Party, the Uttar Pradesh CM said,” Citizens of Delhi have responded to them who have raised questions over Electronic voting machines in the recent MCD polls.” “They have proved that EVM stands for Every Vote Modi,” he added. He was speaking at an event in Gorakhpur.
Referring to the recent ban on red beacons, the 44-year-old leader said,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi has put a full stop to the VIP culture in the country. He also said that law and order has hugely improved in his tenure and his government will continue to work in this regard in future also.
“There has been a transformation in law & order situation in UP and this will continue in the future too,” he said. Asserting that the state government will not spare those who do not respect law, the UP CM said ” We had urged earlier too,people who do not respect the law can leave UP & who don’t will be dealt strictly with.” He also said that the state government will not compromise on the issue of woman safety.
