Have no ambition to become chief minister, will not apologise: Kumar Vishwas

Kumar Vishwas also said that he will decide his next course of action by end of the day

Aam Aadmi Party leader Kumar Vishwas on Tuesday expressed his disappointment with the way party high-command dealt with Amanatullah Khan episode and hinted that he may part ways with the party.

In an emotional outburst, he alleged that Amanatullah Khan is being used a mascot and someone else is putting words in his mouth. “Had such remarks been made against Kejriwal or Sisodia, he would have been thrown out of the party immediatel,” he added.

Speaking to media in the capital, Vishwas said he had no ambitions of becoming chief minister, or party chief or neither he is willing to join other parties. He also said he will not apologise for his video supporting army. He also said that he will decide his next course of action by end of the day. However, he did not described what exactly he was referring to.

Earlier, Khan resigned from party’s Political Affairs Committee (PAC) on Monday evening but rteiterated his accusations that Vishwas is working at the behest of Bharatiya Janata Party. He said he had stepped down voluntarily while maintaining that Vishwas was planted in AAP by RSS and BJP.

Earlier Deputy chief minister Manisgh Sisodia said, “Kejriwal is upset that MLAs are making statements in media. Those who have a problem should come to me and Kejriwal, not speak in media.” “Such statements to the media only discourages party workers,” he added.

In an interview with India Today, Vishwas had said that Party high command has lsot connect with the grass root. He also said that Kejriwal should not have made video questioning the surgical strike by Indian army.
