A Karnataka was was rushed to a hospital after she complained of a severe headache and discomfort in her ear. After some examining, the doctors were shocked to see a spider crawling out of the woman’s ear! The doctors then filmed the entire procedure, the video, in turn, has now gone viral.
The woman, identified as Lekshmi L, 49, was brought by her husband to Columbia Asia Hospital in Hebbal, India, when she suffered a severe headache after napping on the veranda outside her home.
The woman told doctors the sensation started as a slight discomfort and a tingling sensation, but the pain became excruciating after her daughter used a flashlight to look into her ear.
According to media reports, a doctor at the hospital saidit is common to see emergency room visits due to the presence a foreign object in the ear and it takes a simple procedure to remove the object. But, when a living insect makes its way inside a human ear, the patient’s anxiety makes it difficult to continue the procedure.

After feeling the pain, as a normal reaction, Lakshmi dug her finger into her ear canal to see if something was caught but couldn’t. She even asked her daughter to examine her ear under torch light, but nothing was found. Later when her pain reached an unbearable level, her husband took her to the hospital, where the spider came out after spending hours in her ear!
