Here’s some heartwarming news for your soul today: A Hyderabad traffic police personnel played good cop helped an 80-year-old homeless woman get sustenance. The lady was curled up on Kukatpally street, a primary location for shopping in Hyderabad, for three days straight and the cop decided to help her out on Sunday morning. 2018 ain’t that bad after all, eh?
In an interview with The Hindu, Home Guard B Gopal said, “I offered her a cup of tea and then bought lunch for her. But she was unable to even eat with her own hands, so I fed her. I was moved when I got to know that none of her nine sons look after her.”
His gesture became a talking point after Harsha Bhargavi, Chief Public Relations Officer to Telangana DGP, tweeted this picture:
