Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday condemned Pakistan’s decision to sentence former Indian Navy officer Kulbhushan Jadhav to death. Giving a statement in Parliament, Singh said despite several attempts by India, a consular access has been denied by Pakistan.
“Kulbhushan Jadhav had a valid Indian visa, how can he be a spy,” Singh said in Lok Sabha. He also added that the Indian Government will do whatever possible for Kulbhushan Jadhav. “I want to assure everyone that justice will be meted out to him,” he added.
The Home Minister also said, ‘Indian government will do everything, Jadhav will get justice.’

Congress also raised the issue of Kulbhushan Jadhav’s death sentence in Lok Sabha. Congress leader, Mallikarjun Kharge, said “this will be a murder if govt didn’t interfere. Pakistan is saying he is a RAW agent, this is all false.”
Kharge also attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying, “you go to meet him on his daughter marriage, why can not you talk on Jadhav’s issues then.”
