The tale of “lady in a white saree” never gets old. A pilot had once claimed to have spotted a ‘mysterious white saree lady’ on the runway after which he asked the airport staff to save the woman. However, when the staff reached there, they could not see any lady on the runway. Even though the Air Traffic Control refused to accept that any such incident took place, the pilot and certain staff members maintained that they had seen a ‘mysterious’ lady in white.
#2 Kalpalli Cemetery
Cemeteries do give a strange and an eerie feeling, for obvious reasons. Many believe that a cemetery situated near Old Madras Road is haunted. Eye witnesses have often claimed that they have seen a man-like-figure lurking around the graves during the nights. It is owing to this fright that even the guards refuse to be around the cemetery after sunset.
#3 Victoria Hospital
This is a classic example of a “hungry ghost”. The guard of Victoria Hospital, which is a hundred-year-old building, has apparently claimed that he had seen a woman stealing food packets in the night. If stories are to be believed then it is said that the lady who is presumed to be the hungry ghost died in the hospital years ago and now haunts the premises.

This house located at the St. Marks road is an old abandoned house in Bangalore The story of this “haunted” goes something like this: It belonged to two sisters one of whom was murdered by an unidentified miscreant. The other sister allegedly left the house soon after due to some property issue. People have reportedly heard strange cries and screams from the house. Dare to visit the house?

This Bangalore – Mumbai highway is one of the longest highways in Karnataka. Some have complained of unusual happening on NH4. #6 M.G. Road Call Centre
MG Road which happens to be one of the most happening places in the city is apparently haunted! Yes, you read it right. People believe that a girl who had met with an accident on this road haunts the place. It is believed that the night she met with the accident, she was screaming for help but no one came forward to help her leading to her death. People have claimed to have heard strange cries and screams every year on this road on her death anniversary. Some have also claimed to have seen her “ghost” on one occasion on the same road she met with the accident.
#7 Naale Baa
How would people react if they have a ‘ghost’ knocking on their door? No idea? But in the early 90s, the people of Bangalore had a unique way to communicate with these ‘ghosts’. Since many claimed that they could hear an unusual knock at the doors of the houses during the odd hours, they started writing Naale Baa on their gates, which is a Kannada phrase for ‘Come back tomorrow’.
