A Jet Airways flight from Goa to Mumbai with 161 people onboard, including seven crew members, skidded off the runway on Tuesday morning.
Fifteen out of 154 passengers who were onboard, sustained minor injuries. All guests and crew have been safely evacuated.
The incident took place around 4.45 am when Jet Airways flight 9W 2374 was aligning to takeoff from Dabolim Airport.
“Jet Airways regrets to inform that its flight 9W 2374, from Goa-Mumbai veered off the runway while aligning for takeoff. All guests and crew have been safely evacuated. Few guests have sustained injuries during evacuation,” a statement issued by the Jet Airways reads.

After the accident, all operations on the runway have been halted. All arrivals/departures have been delayed.
