Two terrorists were killed by the security forces in an encounter in Khimber’s Hadoora area of Ganderbal district in Jammu and Kashmir. Arms, ammunition and paraphernalia were recovered from the terrorists killed in Ganderbal encounter.
As the news of the encounter spread out, paramilitary forces along with the local police rushed to the spot.
Till now there has been no reports of the casualties and locals are asked to not step out of their houses.
As per the sources, Heavy firing was heard from both the sides.
Whereas, another infiltration bid foiled by the security forces in Sunderbani sector of Rajouri district, J&K in which one infiltrator got killed.

Few days back one Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist was killed in an encounter with police and security forces in Bandipore districtin Jammu and Kashmir. As per the reports, the terrorist killed was the nephew of mastermind in 26/11 Mumbai attack, Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi.
Last year in November two soldiers were killed when terrorists entered the premises of 166 army unit at Nagrota in the outskirts of Jammu and Kashmir.
