Hours after an explosion at RSS Nadapuram office in Kerala that injured four Sangh workers, a Communist Party of India (Marxist) office in Kozhikode’s Vishnumangalam was set on fire.
The incident took place in the late hours of March 2. However, no causalities have been reported so far.
On March 2, four Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) workers were hurt when unidentified persons threw a crude bomb near its office in Nandapuram area of Kozhikode district. Security of the area has been beefed up after the explosion.
Two of the workers who got severely injured in the incident were taken to the Kozhikode Medical College Hospital, while the other two were admitted to a private hospital, said the senior police official.
Reacting on the incident, RSS supporter Virag Pachpor said, “since communist government has came to the power in Kerala, there have been continuous attacks on RSS people. Central government needs to intervene in this state matter and restore normalcy”.

Earlier, a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh leader had announced a bounty of Rs 1 crore on the head of Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Holding him responsible for the death of Sangh workers in the state, Kundan Chandrawat said he would sell off his entire property and give it to the person who brings him the head the Vijayan. Reacting on the statement made by RSS leader, Vijayan had said, “Sangh Parivar has taken heads of several people”.
