Martyred Indian Jawan Aurangzeb's Brothers Join Territorial Army

Brothers of slain Indian Army rifleman Aurangzeb who was killed last year by militants have joined the Territorial Army. The brothers, Mohammad Tariq & Mohammad Shabi were among the 100 recruits selected for the Territorial Army. 11,000 applicants had taken part in the recruitment rally which was held at Rajouri’s Surankote area. Aurangzeb who was posted with 44 Rashtriya Rifles was abducted & killed by militants in South Kashmir while he was on a holiday. He was posthumously conferred Shaurya Chakra. His father Mohammad Hanif, a resident of Poonch district joined BJP in February 2019.
