Beagles who have been freed from captivity are called Freagles. 21 beagles were recently released from a pharmaceutical testing laboratory in Gujarat. After being freed, they are living in Bowsome Retreat. A vacation home run by Richa Singh, who is also part of the trust called Freagles of India (FoI).
FoI takes custody of beagles that are ready to be released from animal testing laboratories. Beagles are used in labs because of their docile nature and small size. The experience usually leave them scarred for life. So, anyone who adopts them needs to love them without judgement. Freagles need special collar and support for walking. They are anxious and scared of human beings
Freagles of India allows adoption only after the candidates have answered 90 questions to its satisfaction. Would you like to adopt one of these cuties?
It won’t be easy, but then nothing can be more satisfying than healing one of them to normalcy.
