A low intensity earthquake hit Himachal Pradesh in early hours of Thursday , while authorities said there has been no loss of life and damage has been reported so far. The quake measuring 3.8 on richter scale was reported at 1 .39 a.m., local Meteorological Office Director, Manmohan Singh told IANS.
The epicentre of the quake was Chamba, a region adjoining Jammu Kashmir with Himachal Pradesh. Notedly, this was the second mild quake in a month, the last one was recorded on February 4.
