ISC Class 12 results 2017 were released by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) on May 29. Uttar Pradesh’s Miss India 2016 second runner-up Pankhuri Gidwani was supposed to appear for her Class 12 exams last year but decided to give it a miss to participate in the Miss India pageant. However, this year, the Lucknow girl had decided to come back home and give it all for this years class 12 board exams.
And the girl has scored a whopping 97.25% in ISC Class 12 Exams 2017. A student of La Martiniere Girls College, Lucknow, Pankhuri took to Facebook to share her achievement with people. ” 97.25 it is.So there is something I would like all my friends and followers to know I had missed my board examinations for participating in Miss India(at 18) and after winning Miss India 2nd Runners Up I had to train for Miss Grand International and received the 25th position out of 80 countries.” Pankhuri’s Facebook post read as.
“After coming back from the pageant, I battled a number of hard situations, one of them getting adjusted to studying again after a year of glamour.I put my all into it, and this is the result i came forth with,” she added.
She further said in her Facebook post that nothing was impossible that all you need is “grit, determination and a true heart to pursue it.”
Her ecstatic father who was clearly overjoyed with his daughter’s achievements told Hindustan Times that she scored 99 in History and that she was now planning to pursue mass media from Mumbai. It was important on her part to strike a balance between academics and her modelling career. Pankhuri has scored 99 in history and wants to study performing arts or do a bachelor’s in Mass Media from Mumbai It’s so overwhelming! Wishes are pouring in from all quarters. It has been a thrilling journey for my daughter,” Pankhuri’s father told the leading daily.
