Ever wondered what if telephone changes into a storyteller? but this is now a reality. To inculcate the habit of reading and listening among children, a campaign ‘Missed Call Do, Kahaani Suno’ has been initiated in the UP. With this scheme, every child will be able to hear a story just by giving a missed call on a particular number.
The project run by Pratham books was quite a success in the other states and on Wednesday it was initiated in UP as well. It will continue in UP till August 25.
Himanshu Giri, Pratham Books’ chief executive, “The stories can be heard for free in two languages. All you have to do is to give a missed call on 8033094244. And within two minutes, you will get a call back with a story. Up to 40 stories can listen from one mobile number and maximum of two stories per call”.
