Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Tuesday addressed the volunteers in Nagpur on the occasion of Sangh’s 91st foundation day.
However, what caught the attention was that both the volunteers, commonly known as ‘swayamsevaks’ as well as the boss were donning brown trousers instead of the traditional khaki shorts.
The new uniform was incorporated after a decision in RSS’s Akhil Bhartiya Pratinidhi Sabha in Rajasthan’s Nagaur in March this year replacing khaki half pants with brownish trousers and khaki socks with brownish socks.
The RSS started sale of its new uniform, brownish trousers and brownish socks, to its volunteers last month.
