Has Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav backed off? Amid the ongoing upheaval in the Yadav clan, Mulayam has postponed the party’s national convention that he had called on January 5.
Giving out the information, Mulayam Singh’s brother Shivpal Yadav on Monday tweeted that all party members must put in all efforts to the win the upcoming polls in Uttar Pradesh.

Mulayam Singh also asked party workers and activists to prepare for the assembly elections which will be crucial to the party’s future.
The already existing crisis got worse when Mulayam declared all resolutions passed by Ram Gopal Yadav in the emergency meet called by him yesterday as null and void.
Adding to all the drama that has been at the centre of the Samajwadi Party family feud, Mulayam Singh yesterday expelld close colleagues and MPs Naresh Agarwal and Kironmoy Nanda.
Akhilesh is today expected to approach the Election Commission in a tussle over the ‘cycle’, which is the party’s official election symbol. According to party’s convention Akhilesh will have to approach the Election Commission to lay claims over the election symbol.
