All the railway stations in the Mumbai and Pune city of Maharashtra has been put on alert after officials found a “terror” letter” with details of a possible terror attack planned in the city. Following which, the Railway police official has beefed up security in all the railway stations in Mumbai and Pune.
According to a report in Indian Express, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) has recovered a Hindi letter in the Roman script that reportedly said that the close aide of Dawood Ibrahim, Chhota Shakeel had sent few people to Mumbai or Pune for a massive blast in Mumbai and Pune.
“Bhai (Chhota Shakil) ne jo Pakistan se aadmi India me bhej diye he unse Mumbai or Pune me bada dhamaka karne ka plan banane ke liye Muzzafar Shaha Puna se Bombay aanewala he aage kya karna he kaise karna hai wo Muzaffar batayega ( Bhai has sent a few people from Pakistan to carry out the plan out a massive blast in Mumbai or Pune. Muzaffar Shaha will be coming from Mumbai. He will tell you what to is to done next.)”, Indian Express quoted the excerpts from the letter as saying.
Furthermore, the letter also reportedly contains a few mobile number and asks the person the letter addressed to contact Muzaffar and find out the next step. “Muzaffar ko contact Karo or kya karna he samaj lo”, the letter reportedly stated.
However, the police are still making efforts to verify the authenticity of the letter. The daily further reported, the RPF found the letter inside a blue bag that was handed over to them by a young 20-year-old woman at the Dadar railway station. The police are also currently interrogating the woman who handed over the bag to the police officials. However, the officials are refusing to give out detailed information since they have launched a massive investigation. The police are also making efforts to speak to people who’s numbers are mentioned in the letter. However, no arrests have been made as yet.
The police have been directed by the Government Railway Police to stay alert and perform an anti-sabotage check at the railway stations.
