For the past some time, many incidents have come to light where members of the minority community are being targeted. In a horrifying incident that took place two days ago, a minor Muslim boy was allegedly stabbed to death on a Mathura bound train and four other were injured.
As there is a sense of growing religious intolerance in the country, a Muslim man stood blindfolded at India Gate in New Delhi with a placard reading, Main ek ‘Musalman’ Hu….Aaj Mera Roza hai…Main Chahta hu ki mera Roza…Hindu Bhaiyo ke saath kholu…’Jai Hind’ (I am a Muslim, I have kept roza today, I want to break my roza with Hindu brothers”.
The placard caught the attention of people. Many passersby carefully read the placard that he was holding and moved on. Those who were in a car stopped their vehicle just to read what was written on it. Do you know what happened next?

Many number of the visitors came up to him, hugged him and also helped him in breaking his roza. Therefore restoring our faith in diverse India of which all Indians are proud of.

The video of it was uploaded on the Facebook page called Afla Toon on June 21 and since then has got over 1.4 million views. The video is a social experiment and is the brainchild of Atif Anwar. The video ends with a message “Roza khulwane se dharam kam nahin hoga haan duriyan zaroor kam hongi, sochiye aapka dharam kya hai (Helping people in breaking roza won’t make you less religious but yes it lessen the gap. Think what is your religion)
