Muslims Offering Food To Kanwariyas Is What Hindu-Muslim Unity Is All About

Call it a lovely example of communal harmony, at this camp for Kanwariyas in Uttar Pradesh’s Kairana, Muslims offered fruits & refreshments to the Hindu devotees who were passing by. Arrangements were also made for their rest. Every year, thousands of Kanwariyas go on a pilgrimage during monsoons to Haridwar, Gaumukh and Gangotri to collect holy water from river Ganga.
