On Friday, CBSE gave an assurance in the Delhi High Court that Class XII students can send a request for verification of their answer sheets

Now, students who are not satisfied with their marks in Class XII CBSE board can apply for the revaluation, as the board has finally agreed to re-evaluate the answer scripts of the students. After the board announced its class XII results, many students found errors in the marks that they obtained in the exams. Students then approached the Delhi High Court.

On Friday, CBSE gave an assurance in the Delhi High Court that students can send a request for verification of their answer sheets. Also, the request of students for the scrutiny of their answer sheets would be considered by the board on the first-come-first-serve basis. Therefore, those students who applied first, their copies will be given priority.

ASG Sanjay Jain, appearing for CBSE submitted, “Within the limit of our verification scheme we will look into the students’ grievances.” Many students, who appeared for the exam this year, filed petitions against the CBSE decision to scrap the re-evaluation policy.
