As the protests against Padmaavat took an ugly turn in states of Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Rajasthan, Karni Sena members made a laughing stock of themselves in Bhopal. As they went on a rampage on the streets of Bhopal yesterday, a few Karni Sena members accidentally torched their own member’s vehicle.

Yesterday, in Haryana’s Gurugram these Karni Sena members pelted stones at a school bus carrying children. A few days ago, they vandalised malls in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad. In Rajasthan, they threatened that Rajput women would commit jauhar if the movie is screened in the state and vandalised shops in Udaipur.

Even as the Supreme Court ordered all the states to screen the movie, multiplexes across Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Goa have refused to screen the movie fearing violence from Karni Sena hooligans, as per News 18.
Police force has been deployed at various cinema halls in cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Kolkata, Gurugram and cities of Uttar Pradesh. But cinema halls are cancelling shows anticipating attack.
