Five months after 27 children lost their lives in an accident in Himachal Pradesh’s Kangra district, their parents still await justice for their children. As a mark of protest, the kids’ parents crawled in protest till the district administration’s office on Monday.
Parents of the victims were displeased with the investigations conducted by the district administration that is headquartered in Dharamshala. Naresh Singh, one of the victim’s father told ANI, “The Additional District Magistrate told us yesterday (Sunday) that all reports were based on facts but he didn’t say anything about retaining wall or the truck. We are not happy with this report.”
The additional district magistrate in Kangra prepared a report on the incident, which drew criticism from the parents of the deceased children.
