In a bid to maintain the support of the MLAs, Sasikala Natarajan has sent them to an undisclosed location amid the political turmoil to acquire the top post in the state of Tamil Nadu. However, in a shocking revelation, it is now being reported that the AIADMK MLAs are being brainwashed and being given alcohol.
According to a report in NewsMinute, the MLAs are holed up in Golden Bay Resorts. A source in the resort who wished to remain anonymous has told the daily that the AIADMK MLAs have booked the whole resort and there is no place to even sleep. Apart from MLAs Health Minister Vijaya Bhaskar is also reportedly present in the resort.
The source further claimed that no one is allowed to go out of the resort including the staff of the hotel. Only the driver is allowed to leave the resort to get utilities and groceries to prepare food. The source also made a startling revelation saying that the lawmakers are being brainwashed and being given alcohol in the resort.
Tamil Nadu politics is in a chaotic state with O Panneerselvam resigning and making way for Jayalalithaa’s long time aide Sasikala. A tug of war is going on between OPS and Sasikala to claim the throne of Tamil Nadu. Amidst the ongoing uproar, Sasikala Natarajan along with her supporting MLAs have requested to meet the President Pranab Mukherjee in New Delhi.
While Sasikala has alleged that Panneerselvam has betrayed party and Amma, Panneerselvam has termed Sasikala to be a “liar” and in return have claimed that she has betrayed the party. Both of them have flaunted support of the MLAs and both have claimed to prove majority in the Assembly.
Sasikala has claimed that she has the support of at least 120 MLAs who had also attended the strategy meeting of the AIADMK held after O Panneerselvam revolted openly against the closest aide of Sasikala saying that she forced him to resign.
