While speaking at rally, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi had recently claimed that the Congress party had strengthened RBI while the central government had weakened it.
Recently, senior Congress leader Manmohan Singh hit out at Prime Minister saying that with PM Modi claiming a transformation of the economy, people now know that the beginning of the end has come. Continuing his attack over the government’s decision to demonetise the Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes, the former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh asserted that the demonetisation has hurt the nation very badly, while adding that things have now gone from bad to worse.
Terming it to be a massive “disaster”, Manmohan Singh, who has also been an Indian economist noted that the GDP of the country has gone down to 6.3%. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister had asked the people across the country to grant him 50 days to bring stability in the country and to even punish him if he failed to deliver.
